very useful in using downstream ports to start mainlining devices. this is how i started
u can whittle down the files for downstream linux kernels to the bare minimum quite easily. that way ai can quickly grep and find relevant things for mainlining purposes. ik pmOS doesnt like ai, but this workflow has genuinely been useful for me to get actual functionality working without spending a lot of time
1 problem: people get comfortable with ports and rarely improve it

@Logical_Error@fosstodon.org AI morality aside, does this require the kernels to be packaged in pmOS? It sounds like you're just using the source code as reference which doesn't require any packaging?
