@mancavgeek@social.teamb.space it's a beautiful beast. I saw it at Duxford in 2001 but I don't think it flew.

@zkarj@mastodon.nz "Beautiful" isn't a word I would normally apply to the Stringbag, but I love them anyway! In fact, offhand, I can't think of a single Fairey aircraft I would use that term for. They certainly aren't De Haviland, who only rarely made ugly planes!
