  Bliss - Sitting in the back garden with a cold Vimto, writing blurbs for the site in between doing a bit of Dot Spotting. Gorgeous blus sky, but not too warm, especially under this parasol. Pity MAN is on 05s rather than 23s, because no arrivals come this way on those runways, but im getting loads of photos of heavies coming from Europe before hitting The Pond, as well as some stuff on approach to LBA. #AvGeek #aviation #PlaneSpotting #DotSpotting #photography

  *sigh* Writing blurbs for one of today's photos, snd going down a massive rabbit hole that is only tangetially connected to said rabbit hole. Considering doing a series of photo-essays on the history of Manchester Airport, at least over the time ive been going there - i keep making references to things that used to be there (like the terraces), and people who have never been, or are used to the modern airport, wouldnt know thatvthese things ever existed.

  Typical! Manchester Airport has been operating on 05's all day, which means that the approach path(s) go nowhere near me. The sun is thinking about going down now, so of course, they change to 23's, and start routing some flights over my house.   Ok, thos is axweird question, but... Do some Australian GA aircraft have registrations in the 19-nnnn range? I've seen some photos of small, possibly home-built or experimental planes , all of which were taken in Australia, but i can't find any reference to thst prefix.
