@zkarj@mastodon.nz "Beautiful" isn't a word I would normally apply to the Stringbag, but I love them anyway!
In fact, offhand, I can't think of a single Fairey aircraft I would use that term for.
They certainly aren't De Haviland, who only rarely made ugly planes!

@zkarj@mastodon.nz I was lucky enough to be going to airshows when the Royal Navy still had 2 of these beasts flying - seeing them flying in formation was certainly something to see (and hear!)
