So yesterday I went to the "Transfem dinner". The best description you could give is "monthly national convention of transfem of Switzerland". And I dissociated. I dissociated so hard. I felt pretty out of place. All the pretty girls with their lasered and FFSed faces. I'm looking forward to FFS for fuck' sake. In addition, trans women are extremely easily distracted and it's kinda tough to hold a conv with anyone there. FFS stands for Face Feminisation Surgery

@pinkberet@transfem.social I'm sorry you had a bad time :neocat_hug: Sounds a lot like "the dinner for the rich ones who could afford things and go there to autocelebrate themselves." Also that easily distracted, they really feel like the worst kind of stereotype of trans woman: ultra femine beauty and emptiness. I pass thank you, I'm going skiing XD

@pinkberet@transfem.social I had a similar experience when I first came out. I went to a support group and noticed I was the only one there with short hair, no makeup, wearing a mix of womens and mens clothes. I felt really out of place. They were really nice to me though and they understood I just started transitioning but the girls I met there looked so pretty and well put together and I've always been a perpetual hot mess.
