@ReignOfRaining@transfem.social @pinkberet@transfem.social I feel like that's a mix of selection bias (if I was going to I've of those I would dress myself up more than usual), a dash of "we all go through the teenage phase of not knowing how to dress ourselves" and the fact that, as a general rule, when you look at others, you see what's there, but when you look at yourself, you see what's missing. I've received plenty of compliments for outfits and things that I felt were ok at best, because I knew what I was going for and how I fell short, while others just saw the end product. And I'm sure I gave several compliments in a similar situation as well
