It helps that strength training flips this around, too. Tracking to make sure I'm getting _enough_ food doesn't seem as miserable as the way I would have approached this in the past.
Anyway, it's only been 5 days, but I don't yet dread or resent making a note of the food I eat. But it is annoying that all the apps focus on calories, and assume that your target numbers are maximums. If my tracker is going to have opinions and not just do the accounting for me, then I want the opinion to be that I did a good job providing for myself. Not that I did a good job withholding from myself.

@jenniferplusplus@hachyderm.io Those apps are haters. Maybe you can embrace the hate, and celebrate when they caution you that you've exceeded your calorie or protein goals? Or are there any apps aimed for bodybuilders? Those might flip the goals to minimums. I wonder if this is a hole in the market. Also, 185lb deadlift makes you a badass - in my eyes, anyway. You go, Xena!

@jenniferplusplus@hachyderm.io Does it not let you set separate numbers for protein, fiber, etc.? Or is it that it does but only lets you set max numbers for them?
