@oldladyplays@wargamers.social i used to work for a university that did spacecraft development using NASA grants. I left in October because the university was bowing to state fascism.
Now they are crushing us via fiat again. I’m out of the system, but my heart is still back there, and their hatred is killing me. I want to be stronger, but they hurt me over and over again.
I know that my tears are what they want. But crying is the only way i can deal with this pain.
I wish i had someone to go to for solace from this, but I’m the elder in my tiny community. 😞😭

@aizuchi@hachyderm.io @oldladyplays@wargamers.social I was also forced out of my government funded job last year for being trans. The wrong person found out I was trans and complied in advance with the executive orders to revoke credentials I needed to do my job.
