Looking for suggestions for a good macOS markdown viewer/editor. Don't need any fancy cloud sync or anything like that, just solid viewing and editing of local markdown files.

@bwebster@mastodon.social I quite like Typora these days, but it’s not a native app and thus has its quirks. Haven’t found another solution that I like more yet, though.

I suppose the closest I've tried for that purpose is MarkEdit, by this small group of people? (I'm no super Markdown nerd, but I'm pretty particular about lightweight text editors and this is one of the few I've left myself with.) http://tiny.cc/markedit

@bwebster@mastodon.social I use Typora for the lighter stuff, but the best editing I have found is within Obsidian, which isn’t really designed for just editing.
