@louie@pdx.social That’s true. So why offer an option to turn liquid glass on or off? Just implement it and don’t worry about shrinking your user base. If someone hates this new UI, they will leave the whole platform anyway. I use NetNewsWire because it is a great native app, and I hope it will adapt to this.

@tomas@iosdev.space Are you telling me that developers should automatically outsource their design to Apple? That puts a lot of faith in Apple not just having good sense and taste, but having a deep understanding every third party app and how those decisions will cascade to every app on the platform. If you really believe that, I think I might opt out of this conversation.
