  Why doesn’t Apple provide the #macOS #Tahoe installer as an official option for download? It’s useful for installing the #beta OS on a different disk or disk partition.

  @brentsimmons It doesn’t make sense to me—you can’t go against the platform in the long term, and it doesn’t make sense to stay in the past. If Liquid Glass is not suitable for someone, they can leave the platform. It’s like having a switch to turn off Windows Vista and go back to XP. 😅

  @james@0x000.co @chockenberry @james@0x000.co @chockenberry That’s probably a bug I like — I can’t stand these regular weekly releases. Most of them come without proper release notes, and installing this ballast just wastes resources.

  If you don’t use your #Netflix account for 10 months, it gets deleted — without any notification, since that info is only mentioned in the unsubscribe email. That’s terrible user experience.

  If you copy a function name from Coding Assistant and search the workspace in #Xcode there’s no match. However, searching the same written by hand does match. The copied text seems to contain hidden characters. Providing clickable links would be helpful to avoid this entirely.

  Does anyone know why the app picks the en-GB locale for this settings? I would expect to plain en to be picked.
