I used to enjoy pointing out that Kurt Cobain’s death is closer in history to the Beatles’ first performance on Ed Sullivan as it is to today, but that’s only painful for GenX folks. I do still like how the release of the Nintendo 64 is closer to the first moon landing than it is to today though.
