@sarajw@front-end.social at the same time, there was a LOT of propaganda around digital natives, kids growing up on the computer, about how kids in the future will have always known how to use computers and how this will reshape the world, etc

@sarajw@front-end.social i don't think any other technology has had that kind of native narrative around it and i think this has only compounded as it became easy to give kids things like cell phones and pawn off parenting onto youtube, etc. and as kids started getting laptops and chromebooks in school
