@jeffowski@mastodon.world I'm reminded of a S:TAS episode where somebody plants a bomb in Clark's car because his journalistic inquiries are getting uncomfortably close to something. He's not hurt, of course, but he's stuck as Superman until he can come up with a plausible explanation for Clark to be alive.

@jeffowski@mastodon.world I think the Timmverse came *close* to that -- one multi-part episode having Clark "killed" in a car accident. The end of the story has him coming back, saying he was unconscious with no identification or something. But you know, I would kinda love to see a collaboration between Timm and the Coen brothers doing this.
