@mwichary Your recent post about focus in Photoshop reminded me of a frustration I have with focus in Mail. In this screenshot, which message has focus? If I hit cmd-R, which message will I be quoting? The answer of course is that the upper message has focus, but it should also be obvious that I want to quote the lower message in my response.

I’ve been a casual user of Obsidian for a while, and was trying to figure out how to do something new with it. Every time I search the web for Obsidian tips, I have to ask whether it’s an app or a cult totem. #Obsidian

It seems like everything is going on in Austin today. There was a full orchestra tuning up at Central Market this morning. There are neighborhood festivals in Hyde Park and Cherrywood (and probably elsewhere). A friend is having an art opening. Lucky thing we're having nice weather after a rainy spell. #AustinTX

I have been trying to get a local install of Jekyll to build correctly, and it won’t do so with anything other than the default theme. I recently switched from Pinboard to Mymarks. Importing my old bookmarks was not quite fire-and-forget. I wound up splitting the bookmark file into twelve files of 100 links, and had one that just wouldn’t import successfully. It wasn’t clear why. As an exercise, I decided visit every link in that file, which were all about 20 years old, and delete every link that didn’t work. Only 19 of the 100 were still correct, or redirected to something correct. The redirect pictured here…made an impressio...

This is an especially egregious example of the greengrocer’s apostrophe because it’s in the Netherlands. And it’s not the only example I’ve seen here.
