@bedast@beige.party @kimu@wandering.shop I had shingles in my 30s and even a week of being confined to bed and gi issues is way better than even two days of the stabbing and burning of a shingles outbreak. Fortunately the vax for it just made me tired for a couple of days.

@unixorn@hachyderm.io The worst part for me was the months of deep nerve pain that persisted. The rash wasn't a big deal. Once the antivirals did their thing, that was all fine. It was the deep pain disruptive to sleep, doing daily things, etc, that was the problem for me. @kimu@wandering.shop
