@stargirl@hachyderm.io it’s such a load of bull anyway. As if there is ever just one moment to get on board and otherwise you’ll be left behind. If that is the case then all the ai bros will have fucked off and the rest of us could finally get back to normal. I’m sure there’s a downside there? :-) If this thing truly catches on there will be more trains. It’ll be a regular service of things to catch every half an hour. If it doesn’t, oh well so sad nevermind.

@stargirl@hachyderm.io I made it clear to my boss that if he ever required us to use genAI at work, I would use it to write my letter of resignation. It's truly disappointing seeing all of my coworkers tripping over themselves to rush to get access to sloppy autocomplete. I don't want the more of the average of our existing code. I want better code!
