@stargirl@hachyderm.io I made it clear to my boss that if he ever required us to use genAI at work, I would use it to write my letter of resignation. It's truly disappointing seeing all of my coworkers tripping over themselves to rush to get access to sloppy autocomplete. I don't want the more of the average of our existing code. I want better code!

@yantor3d@mas.to @stargirl@hachyderm.io Dear Sir or Madam, I hereby terminate my employment contract with due notice, effective at the earliest possible date. The decisive reason for this termination is the explicit and mandatory requirement imposed by my employer to use artificial intelligence (AI) tools as an integral part of my daily work. This requirement does not constitute a voluntary adoption of new technology, but rather a concrete and enforceable obligation. From my perspective, this represents a significant and unacceptable intrusion into my professional autonomy and personal principles regarding how work should be performed. For the sake of full transparency and with deliberate consistency, I explicitly state that this resignation letter itself has been generated using AI. This is intentional and serves as a direct illustration of the exact circumstance that has led to my decision. Please confirm receipt of this termination as well as the effective end date of my employment in writing. Thank you for the experience and cooperation. I wish the company continued success in the future. Yours faithfully, [Your Name]
