It seems that at the moment the only FBRs online are Russian BN-600&800 and new Indian PFBR (500MWe prototype, so a decent one). China is building two CFR600 in Xiapu. Plus Russian BREST-300 (only lead-cooled?)
It's sad to see France abandoned its fast projects, but Super-Phenix had bad press back in the days. Maybe with the new generation of EPRs there will come need for fast reactors. Hopefully... 🙄

@nucleosophia@mastodon.energy With the lessons learned, we can build a better one from scratch. Maybe a secondary loop with gas and a Brayton cycle? That would eliminate one loop, sodium/water interface, and the issues of contaminated gas. Heat exchangers similar to our LDR-50.

Uranium prices will eventually inevitably rise and at that point it makes sense to be ready to roll out a fast reactor fleet. India is moving slowly, but isn't in any hurry. China seems to emulate Russia's approach.
