@kristinHenry@vis.social I know Veggie Galaxy in Central Square has outdoor seating, and I *think* they have coverings for rain.

@jztusk@mastodon.social @kristinHenry@vis.social Yelp also has street photos sometimes, but they might not be up to date.

@kristinHenry@vis.social I’m with you on the covered part being hard to confirm from afar, especially knowing whether it’s covered as in an umbrella, or as in a roof. I ended up either walking by places or calling them other times I was there. This time (last week), the one evening it rained, I ended up ordering food for pickup from the restaurant at my hotel and eating it in my room. Felt like I wimped out, but was tired from a long work day and it takes energy to search for places.

@kristinHenry@vis.social Grendel's Den in Harvard has outdoor seating with umbrellas that we've used for foss gatherings with folk with health considerations before. There's a fair few places in the sea port too. North end is hit and miss. I don't really know anywhere in Dorchester or Roxbury that has outdoor seating the umbrellas. Not until you get to places like milton anyway. Boston do have a outdoor dining program, but no city list of businesses with licenses unfortunately.

@kristinHenry@vis.social Offering up this spreadsheet of #Boston area covid conscious stuff, last updated ~2025. It includes a tab of outdoor dining options across the metroplex. This came from the New England Still COVIDing discord. (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13VZlmx8N8AO4vFyXMUsLdnQDN9ppNLA-0nnyqQdwAMA/edit?usp=drivesdk #MaskUP #NewEngland
