@eviltrout@carpdiem.online that’s not true. Mastodon can easily do that too. The server that you depend on can easily block other servers and other servers may block yours, so you are still dependent on someone else here as well. It’s a smaller throne that’s dictating, but still a throne none the less.

@eshwarnag@mastodon.social being able to block is a good thing, actually. Every good community needs that. Even if you were defederated for something you could continue to federate with like minded people. On Reddit or Twitter you’re done.
