@eshwarnag@mastodon.social being able to block is a good thing, actually. Every good community needs that. Even if you were defederated for something you could continue to federate with like minded people. On Reddit or Twitter you’re done.

@eviltrout@carpdiem.online I am not against blocking. But the point is, the users of the server do not choose that. The admins of the server decide whom to block and whom not to. So it’s not democratic is what I meant.
