@f09fa681@digitalcourage.social @Hoffi@social.cologne @jon@gruene.social A few options: - If you remove all bags and disassemble the bicycle (removing the front wheel is usually enough), you can travel on French TGVs. I've done it 20+ times: https://cycling-on-rails.com/train-bicycle-guide/france/#double-deck-tgvs-duplex - Some TGVs have a few bicycle spots to be booked with the ticket, but unfortunately not on cross-border routes: https://cycling-on-rails.com/train-bicycle-guide/france/#train-schedule-and-ticketing - Renfe's daily Lyon-Barcelona has a larger storage room which can somewhat unofficially carry assembled bicycles: https://cycling-on-rails.com/train-bicycle-guide/spain/#ave-series-100 1/

@f09fa681@digitalcourage.social @Hoffi@social.cologne @cycling_on_rails@mastodon.social The solution - if you don't want to disassemble the bike! - is find a Strasbourg to the south of France TGV that does convey bikes, and then from south of France route to Port Bou on TER trains that do take bikes. Find TGVs that do take bikes on SNCF Connect!
