@f09fa681@digitalcourage.social @Hoffi@social.cologne @jon@gruene.social A few options:
- If you remove all bags and disassemble the bicycle (removing the front wheel is usually enough), you can travel on French TGVs. I've done it 20+ times: https://cycling-on-rails.com/train-bicycle-guide/france/#double-deck-tgvs-duplex
- Some TGVs have a few bicycle spots to be booked with the ticket, but unfortunately not on cross-border routes: https://cycling-on-rails.com/train-bicycle-guide/france/#train-schedule-and-ticketing
- Renfe's daily Lyon-Barcelona has a larger storage room which can somewhat unofficially carry assembled bicycles: https://cycling-on-rails.com/train-bicycle-guide/spain/#ave-series-100

@f09fa681@digitalcourage.social @Hoffi@social.cologne @jon@gruene.social - Night train Paris-La Tour de Carol might work if you're fine starting in the middle of the Pyrenees: https://cycling-on-rails.com/train-bicycle-guide/france/#night-trains - You can also cross the border in Hendaye to the Basque country with the Euskotren: https://cycling-on-rails.com/train-bicycle-guide/spain/#euskotren - Within Spain you need to disassemble the bike for high-speed trains, removing the front wheel is usually enough in practice, see photos here: https://cycling-on-rails.com/train-bicycle-guide/spain/#photo-gallery 2/2
