I came up with the term &quot;inclusive front&quot; to mean the band of people who care about the web&#39;s inclusivity. It&#39;s a play on words; we largely work on the front end, but I feel we&#39;re also like a political &#39;popular front&#39; (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Popular_front) against a poorly built web that excludes people. I will not gatekeep this term, so if you feel like you want to take it on, go ahead! Even if you&#39;re a backend person, or into security! All are welcome. Join usssssss. I&#39;ve had stickers made. Stickers!!!

I dunno if I'm being terribly presumptuous to try and bring such a broad term into being - but either way if you like it, use it :) If you meet me at a conference, I'll have these with me! I bought them in sheets because otherwise the StickerApp minimum size wasn't small enough. I'll have to cut these up to be able to give them away without them being immediately stuck somewhere. The largest size has a very delicate connection between the dot and the f, lol. Should have chosen a wider border.

@sarajw@front-end.social I am in another part of the Inclusive Front. I am adopting the term #GloballyInclusive to mean, treating handles and URLs and hashtags of all the world's languages as well as those of Latin script and Western European languages are treated. Sometimes they are called "non-ASCII" handles or "#Unicode" URLs. #GloballyInclusiveHandles #GloballyInclusiveFediverse #multilingual
