  Here’s something that will blow your mind. Most U.S. water systems have internet-based logic controllers. And a large number of them use NO PASSWORDS OR DEFAULT PASSWORDS. Yeah.   In April, NASA turned off one of the few remaining functional instruments. They have been slowly disabling them since 1998, because of limited power/use at various ranges.   My experience with Airtable support today (have to use it for a client)… 1. Our plan costs $24. Saw we were billed $119. 2. Sent a support request. 3. Human replied and said they couldn’t help.   This is a great take from @jimniels@mastodon.social on designing in the browser. I don’t know that I’ve ever once coded up one of my designs exactly as its source. Once that code hits, it’s always gonna influence what you do with it. He says “with an interface, you have to use it, feel it, interact with it, and poke at it.” 100%.
