@billgoats I'd love to move away from Kindle altogether, but the free public library lending app, Libby, is partnered with Kindle in such a way that you can very conveniently find a book in the app on your phone, borrow it from your library, and have it magically appear on all your Kindle devices. Is there a way to use other e-readers that easily?

@msbellows @billgoats I can borrow books from the library directly from my Kobo. No need for an app etc. It does make use of Libby.

@msbellows Dunno, I've never had an e-reader before, and I'm not holding onto this one. Could be worth asking at your library!

@msbellows @billgoats I just borrow and download the epub, feed it through Calibre and load it on whatever ereader I want to use. Somewhere on mobileread there are threads about downloading rather than direct send to kindle
