Maybe it's just me, but it's strange how any sentence that starts with "Excited" is something I'm 100% uninterested in. Like a sentence starting with that word almost certainly should be ignored, unless some crucial boss said it. Dear @autistics@fedigroups.social , when some sentence starts with "Excited", do you pretty much roll your eyes immediately, because it'll be a humble brag for sure?

Great motivational video: "Mad Max: Fury Road". There's this survivalist mindset that sort of jolts one out of any ruts of complacency. #motivation

I wish I could use #AI to sneak in the line "You're a horse; I'm a Zebra". This is a reference to the "Horse vs. Zebra" metaphor (of Autistic people being more like Zebras, as compared to Neurotypicals being more like horses). @autistics #ActuallyAutistic #HipHop #Lofi (Disclaimer: contains at least one swear word) "Think Different", by Nujabes, featuring MC Substantial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6oU080Gz5M

There's plenty of #goose value, but the trick is to try not to give any to the narcissists, because they love to hoarde it to themselves. They don't spread it around, despite claiming they will.

@autistics@fedigroups.social There used to be a forum about #Autism called "Wrongplanet". It's been offline for several months now. It had a huge number of interesting threads, all the way back to about 2012. One of the best threads was a "Megathread", where each #ActuallyAutistic forum member contributed the best boiled-down advice they could muster, for the other Autistic people - **how to understand Neurotypicals**. It took me days to read it. There was a ton of goo...

@autistics Announcement: #Voxelibre multiplayer casual game today (Sat) for 4 hours in the late afternoon to evening (North America). That's in about 6 hours from now. There's talk this week of building a "Welcome Center" at the default "spawn point". Please help us build it. Myself, I'd like one about the size of two Burger Kings, one stacked on top of the other, adorned with fancily crafted things. A deck could circumscribe the tr...

@autistics This week's #Luanti time (yesterday) was kind of surreal. I dug my way into this otherwise sealed amethyst cave/chamber while mining. There were luminescent purple crystals growing out of the walls. It felt magical - like an ancient secret revealed. I collected a bunch of Amethysts. #VoxeLibre people: Like what do I craft with them? There's no mention of anything involving these in the crafting book. Do I make jewelry? Or maybe exchange them for goods? Can I buy thing...

1) Didn't get sick. Fended off a cold or something 2) Helped a friend in need 3) Rejigged some video cables to make my home lab arrangement more stable overall. This is after thinking through a better use of what I already had for equipment, since I'm planning on not buying any more RAM for a while. I had a machine crash from RAM exhaustion. #3goodThings
