@marcedwards Doesn't it change depending on how many icons are in the dock? Mine are way out. (13 in dock, 6 columns on landscape screen, iPad Pro 11-inch)

@marcedwards That one, at least, makes some sense. (Space stuff evenly horizontally within the available space. I have much worse thing to report on my Safari address bar on Tahoe, or Apple Maps in full screen.

@marcedwards Take a screen recording and wiggle your phone. The whole grid of icons shifts slightly as the phone moves. I think this is why.

@marcedwards On the other hand, macOS 26 is a nightmare of apps with different angle curvatures in their windows. Steve Jobs is rolling in his grave. This lack of attention for graphic details tells a lot.

@marcedwards I’m not totally against this, but it seems like they’re not centered? Like why aren’t the middle two icons the same distance from the middle 2 red lines?
