  The definitive way to play a game in my mind is almost always the original release unless you can find that original release on something with a higher resolution and better frame rate with as close to zero other changes as possible. eg. The definitive way to play Halo CE is through MCC on a PC in the original graphics and sound mode, compared to 4:3 480p@30FPS on the original Xbox.

  i wonder if the Wii U could somehow manage to run modern Minecraft Java edition, at least like an older version like 1.12.2 with optifine or whatever. I feel like the CPU and GPU might have just enough grunt. There's Linux PPC builds of Java 8, so I guess you could boot Wii U Linux and maybe fumble through that to get the game at least showing the title screen?   i dont know if its just my time with linux making me more keen to using the CLI in windows or if its just microsoft leaning more into having users use the CLI but it is neat having the terminal in windows in a sense like I do in Linux here on Windows 11. it's just neat.

  check new proxmox node its using 20GBs of RAM check through each service. no way it could be using that much ram shut down a VM using 4GBs of RAM, LXCs are in total using maybe 3GBs of RAM at most check node summary again no more than 4GBs in use am i going crazy. is this sleep deprivation.
