@Enalys Unfortunately, this is also true for Python. For instance, I recently updated a Debian 11 server to 12 and fucked all Python environments and all Django webapps, as fully expected. One of the most resilient interpreted languages is simply Perl.

@Enalys I recently asked IT at my workplace to install "make" on my computer. They came back asking if I could please pick something else, as make has not had any updates in quite some time and seems abandoned.
