@Elizafox@social.treehouse.systems @hsza@social.tudbut.de That much is true. I think public domain works like classical music and stuff has it figured out pretty well. I've never seen an adaptation of a classical composition that didn't attribute the original composer even though there wouldn't be any legal consequences for it. (though I imagine there's probably plenty of niche works that slip through the cracks)
