There's a page on the #parkrun website with more information at #parkwalk at https://www.parkrun.org.uk/parkwalk/ Mrs C suffers with chronic pain and fatigue and walks parkrun with sticks. The volunteers have *always* been really lovely, both at our local event and when we've been traveling :)

@edchivers@dice.camp I am happy to add P. S. Fuck off Nike to this message. I say this as someone who shunned all sports and fitness activities for more than 20 years on the basis of sadistic PE lessons and the exact type of messaging Nike seemingly wants to adopt.

@edchivers@dice.camp It is definitely not just you. I'll be walking it tomorrow, hoping there'll be a decent group of us doing the same since the event we're going to has been pushing the parkwalk message all week.
