@caseyliss@mastodon.social This is really cool, Casey. A suggestion for a small future tweak: A hint in the URL field that the protocol is required and an IP isn’t enough. I was a bit confused that there was no obvious button and went back one step after entering the IP and port – only to find it had disappeared when I went back into integrations. The text below the field doesn’t look like something that will turn into a button (yet it did after adding http). Also, I feel you’re underselling this feature by hiding it in that submenu that I only went into after mentally dismissing all the others.

Also, if you happen to be a Tailscale person, AND use a Tailscale IP or ts.net address for your Jellyfin server, the Now Playing integration will work even when you’re not on your home network. 😎

@caseyliss@mastodon.social if you already have remote access to your jellyfin setup with the same URL working locally and remotely, can confirm the now playing works remotely also :)
