Airplane! is still quite funny and most of the family enjoyed it - one nearly died laughing, one almost rolled his eyes out of his head, and another said, "well that was a movie." lol To be honest, a lot of references are super aged and some of them even I don't remember anymore (or maybe never even knew in the first place) so they don't translate super well, but the endlessly quotable lines and ridiculous background jokes still work and keep it from ever getting boring.

Given that you pretty much have to make a ton of references that will age out in this kind of movie, it’s quite astounding really that it holds up as well as it does. While it's not a hard rule we try to avoid repeats, but it's been 5 years. …maybe as a secondary for a night we're up for a double feature. 🤔 Edit: "well that was a movie." 😂
