@yora That's an interesting perspective, especially given the essay by @ianbetteridge that I linked. I'm willing to listen, if you'd like to share more of your perspective, but I respect your privacy if you prefer not to.

@deadDuck @ianbetteridge No, I think that's basically it. Conspiracy theories appeal to people because it provides a community that tells them their feelings of weakness are actually power. In many ways, it is a cult. Except that obedient devotion to the leader does not seem to be a regular thing.
