I live, work and swim in Canada. I am probably enjoying good food or listening to loud music right now. My life is a dance with entropy, sometimes beautiful, sometimes clumsy, always meant to be interesting.

GWAR singing Chappell Roan's Pink Pony Club is worth a watch, even if you're not familiar with either one. Unless you take life seriously. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5XR48KLE8I #GenreBending

I made lemon sorbet. The lemons were nice and fresh, but it’s still very sweet. I think I need to reduce the sugar. The next batch will be Ting flavour.

RE: https://social.seattle.wa.us/@marco/116473799653984723 I find this convincing, but more than that, it’s a really well-crafted essay.

"The epistemological structure of the conspiracy theory is identical to the structure of spiritual awakening. In both cases, there is a surface reality that most people accept unthinkingly, and a deeper truth accessible only to those willing to question, to seek, to undergo the discomfort of knowing. The content differs. The initiatory logic is the same." https://www.ianbetteridge.com/zen-fascist-wi/

I have half an hour before going to the gym, so a quick critical listening session. Still Waiting, by Sum 41. They're Canadian! #music #GenreBending 1/?

I've been thinking a lot about what I would want in a sovereign cloud (e.g. replace iCloud / de-Google). What apps are most important to you, if they were hosted in your country? Please boost for visibility. #sovereign #cloud #degoogle #diday

I'm doing something different tonight for my critical listening session: French music from the 80s and 90s. It's cheesy, it's lovely, it's nostalgic. I'm not sure if I first heard these songs in French class in Canada, on summer work exchange in Europe, or at university in Quebec. #music First up: Je te donne, by Jean-Jacques Goldman. 1985. A duet with some English lyrics by Michael Jones. https://open.qobuz.com/track/68069252
