@glassbottommeg@mastodon.gamedev.place The original was great right up until the point you needed a D-pad, at which point you were screwed. (Although at least they didn't go with their *first* design for the Steam Controller. They were kinda unusable.) Very happy the new one is basically a screen less Steam Deck!

@glassbottommeg@mastodon.gamedev.place Can never un-see it now. I really enjoyed the first controller so when they were running the stock down, I picked up a second. You know to have in reserve in-case the first one broke, because then how would I use my Steam Link. Second controller is in it's box.

@glassbottommeg@mastodon.gamedev.place so glad I'm not the only one still loving the OG controller. My only gripe with it is how noisy it is, especially the click on the touchpads huh?!
