I'm just gonna blame bizarre bugs on vibe coding by default now. It doesn't matter whether or not that is the case; vibe coding leads to such a preponderance of bugs in the first place that stigmatizing it is the primary goal.

@endrift@social.treehouse.systems Literally part of my gut feels like concluding to that every time (regardless of whether it's true or not), especially when I know for certain the folks behind said software regularly uses some AI tool for coding.

@endrift@social.treehouse.systems Likewise, I'm blaming (overly) complex architecture on code bots as well. Sure, we saw similar situations 10 years ago because somebody read a blogpost about mega corp X using tech/pattern Y - but now, it reeks of auto generated code.
