  If I were to start a new social media instance today, it would focus on being safe, creating a culture against hate and bigotry, and especially not being hostile towards LGBTQ+ people.

  As much as I've tried to have patience with mfs who use AI, I'm just feeling like blocking some of them now. Mainly because I know from experience that I won't be able to change their mind about using it. Trying to do that is like trying to persuade a brick wall to move.

  As polls for the primaries open in New Mexico, I just want to remind everyone that even though there's a strong chance that our next governor will be whoever wins the Democratic primary, that doesn't mean you shouldn't go out to vote. You should go out to vote. Your vote can be the difference.

  The one thing about Bluesky that gives me hope is that a lot of people there know how shitty the company is and regularly fight back when they do dumb shit. Even if it doesn't change Bluesky's mind, it shows their users ain't going down without a fight.
