@caffeinatedgeek@thecanadian.social I mostly agree but have questions. If it’s a statement of intent that hasn’t been fully thought out, then it’s purely a political thing. If it’s a reaction that might sound good and be popular then it’s also political but in a trend more often used by PP and the right wing gang. If it’s a serious thing, then details please. Any attempt to force ID on anyone using open online services is definitely a data trap.
