@liw@toot.liw.fi Yes, after waiting for Debian Sarge felt like a very long time (in retrospective it's not, but everything feels like a long time when you're younger), the cadence has been pretty reliable which is an impressive achievement for what some people consider an uncoordinated crowd.

@liw@toot.liw.fi It’s interesting: my first Debian install was in late 2004 (sarge, when sarge was still testing, because woody wouldn’t install on my hardware), and at the time the cliché was ‘debian releases when it’s ready’ and there was intentionally no estimate for when the next release would happen. But there’s now been a consistent release cadence for ⅔ of Debian’s existence.
