@kemotep Do you not have ipv6 on your ISP service? i do so it doesn't seem particularly useful to me, but if you dont then I guess it sets up a tunnel? i guess thats OK.

    @dlakelan I have IPv6 service but I would have to investigate if it’s static or what the deal is with it. But 1. IPv6.rs comes with a static IPv4 address, and 2. I guess that’s part of my question, is this different than port forwarding? My ISP router is pretty locked down, I need to get my own firewall and get them to put it in bridge mode to do something like port forwarding. I just want to avoid opening my home internet to the world without taking proper precautions.
