@lislegaard@sonomu.club @tante@tldr.nettime.org not gonna do the "good guy with code" argument, because it is bunk. But let's make it absolutely clear. That same open source project can be used to build defenses, empower political organizations, protect journalists, political dissidents, etc. Setting the precedent of inserting political clauses that have nothing to do with the users autonomy, control and privacy is a really bad idea - because now you've opened Pandoras box and will be forced to use leaky pro-Isreal code.
