2/2 I’m not here to weigh in on the recent allegations, I’ll let the courts do that work—but the lack of oversight will forever cast doubt on Chad’s ability to fulfil the promises made to me and my fellow Mastonauts. Regardless on if it’s skill or motivation that is preventing Mastodon Canada from becoming the community it was promised, I do think it’s time for mstdnca to find someone or someones to chart a new path for its ship. @chad your service to the Mastodon Community is undeniable and so many of us will be forever grateful for the space you gave us to plant new roots. But the community hasn’t been thriving under your leadership, and Mastodon Canada deserves to thrive. Please consider relinquishing control of the steering wheel. @erin @chad Erin - this is the most helpful piece I've read about mstdn.ca's current problems. An instance is just like other NFP's or community groups: the challenging parts are less the subject matter, and more the common issues shared by all such groups - human, communication, governance and resourcing.

@erin Respectful discourse is informing you that Chad is a pathological liar & he swatted me. Used white racial cop violence on me/my family/my home. Lied about that then. Lies about it to this very day. My story has never changed once because I wasn't lying. Chad forgot his own lies & has told more than one story about him using racial violence on me, after I called him a covert racist assbucket. The cops apologized to me, as I was yelling at them to leave my home & stop traumatizing my Mom, when we were still grieving my Dad's death (less than 4 months prior), over some white guy weaponizing cops on our home.
