  I ran out of the house in pjs, hair a mess, and 1 sock on to ask the waste collection guy why he looked in my green bin bag but weren’t taking it. They are the truck for yard collection, he says. I told them yard collection was picked up an hour ago. They said yes, that was them. So why are they driving by… again? The question remains unanswered. #Ottawa

  This might not be the right place but does anybody know where I can get an at-home sulphur water testing kit? Even the plumbing store doesn’t sell them anymore. For reference it’s to test my well water for sulphur specifically. Edit: after some research and thinking back to a conversation I had today to which I didn’t put the pieces together, I’ve realized it’s likely a super expensive testing kit that I’m looking for. I’ve just reached out to a local water company to see if they have one....

  Some extended thoughts: I’m truly sad to hear the discourse surrounding #mstdnca and learn of the allegations against its instance owner, Chad. I made my fediverse home with mstdnca in Nov 2022 when there was only 1600 of us. Me and Chad connected and I became the 2nd volunteer moderator. We also became friends.
