@argv_minus_one @quinn Similar story, but BBS days way before the public had heard of the Internet. Basically the only place to find people who weren't the narrow minded asses.

@apz Even normal people are finding each other online now. When's the last time you saw strangers walk up to each other on the street, strike up a conversation, and walk away together as friends? I never saw that in my life, including before social media was invented. I'm not sure why society is so atomized—why no one ever seems to talk to anyone except for business—but clamping down on social media is only going to make the problem worse. Can we please stop making problems worse? @quinn
