Ok, I should own up. Casio makes both little plastic (non-working) models/collectables of their watches that you can get as rings …and they also make (or have made) actual working Casio ring watches. Mine is the former. The latter are hard to come by and when they do sell them kinda pricy https://gshock.casio.com/us/products/g-shock-nano/dwn-5600/ So sadly no, this is not what you think it is. Anyone fooled should have considered I would not wear a watch that is the wrong date! 🤣

@ruari I saw the non-working ones as gacha somewhere in Tokyo, ended up not gambling for one when I saw the sign saying it's non-functional. Got richer with a shinkansen mini though :)

@ruari in the 1970s several catalog showrooms (Century, Service Merchandise) had little cocktail rings with tiny watches embedded in them. Surprised I haven't seen any on ebay.
