@brownsbay@pnw.zone our local Steller's Jays usually take about 8 peanuts, stuffed in their crop, and fly away to stash them. Then they come back again.

@brownsbay@pnw.zone I've got Steller's in the back yard and California Scrub Jays in the front yard and they mostly keep clear of each other. The Steller's mostly ignore me, though they seem to understand I'm not a threat. The scrub jays have figured out I'll share snacks on occasion, so they're super friendly.
