@slyka Have you got any control over the EHT? That let you might improve the contrast.

@dtl I don't think so. It does get pretty bright, but turning up the brightness just washes out the image. I might do some basic reverse engineering to see if I can just drive the control grid a little harder maybe to push it deeper into cutoff for the black parts of the image
